The Final Factory Proofs Are On Hand

This is The MPC! 

We just approved the Mass Production Copy - the MPC! 

The MPC is the last stage in production approvals. This version will ultimately find its way into your hands - and it looks fantastic. The manufacturer, Panda, has already printed all the components, cards, rulebooks, and boxes. But they built this one copy to send us for final approval before they commit to putting ALL the copies together. Now that we've approved it, they will begin the final assembly (after celebrating the China National Day holiday this week).

What does this mean for scheduling? They project that assembly will be finished by October 31 and ready to ship in bulk to us. We hope to receive the premium edition games in mid-November, which we will turn around and ship to backers. We will be back in touch with updated timelines once we have shipping confirmation from the factory later this month.

The PomPoks are here!!

This Thursday, we've got a video call with the Panda, the factory producing the card game, to go over the final approvals of the manufactured game!! From there, it's assembly and shipping.  In the meantime, our PomPok Enamel Pins have arrived and are awesome. :) 

The Box and Playboard Proof

The printer sheet with the retail (right) and Kickstarter Exclusive Premium box covers alongside the Playboard Pre-Production Copy.  The playboard is a lot of fun and a six-fold board, so it gets very tight and portable!

More schedule updates soon. The game is in production now.

Hey All, a few folks have asked for updates. We're still on track. As we mentioned previously, Panda, the manufacturer, finally got the color issues sorted, the Pre-Production Copy was approved, and wet prints of the Pantone spot color on the premium edition were approved. The full run of manufacturing has begun on the Kickstarter Special Edition, running concurrently with the retail edition. 

Next, we should see a Manufactured Preview Copy, which we expect any day now. When we approve that they start running the presses.  The color issues at the printer pushed us back by 4 - 6 weeks, but we're still on track. 

We'll share photos of the next materials we receive.
